Andras Bartha


Andras is the heading of Chemical Laboratory at the Department of Animal Hygiene, Herd Health and Veterinary Ethology, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Szent István University, Hungary. He is the former Head of the Testing Laboratory, Research Institute for Cement Industry in Hungary (2012-2013), and the former Head of the Laboratory Department, Geological Institute of Hungary (2007-2012). His GEM-RG research fields are the geochemical analysis and testing of water and earth material with special emphasis on heavy metal and toxic element contamination. His main focus is on instrumental analysis techniques. Andras contributes his wide international experience to GEM-RG trainings and knowledge transfer. He had several joint projects with Gyozo Jordan including Norwegian Fund and red mud research projects.
